Did you know this?

The use of RGB (Red, Green, Blue) is similar to human physiology. In the retina of the eye, there are two types of visual cells: rods and cones. Taps register colour in the light. This is done by registering red, green and blue light. Rods are sensitive to light and are needed for night vision.
